However, for those who are unaware and would like to learn more, I will tell you what KP (keratosis pilaris) is. Keratosis pilaris is commonly referred to as follicular keratosis, lichen pilaris or chicken skin and is a condition that contains the appearance of rough, slightly red, bumps on the surface of the skin. This condition is surprisingly popular with many people and usually appears on the back and outer sides of the arms, but it can also show up on the face, thighs, hands, top of legs, sides and even on your butt!
